LONDON: SAATCHIS SCHOCKTHERAPIE. New Art aus Iran und dem Nahen Osten

In seiner aktuellen Ausstellung "Unveiled: New Art from the Middle East" präsentiert Charles Saatchi wieder einmal teils schockierende und provozierende Werke – diesmal aus dem Nahen Osten und dem Iran. Nach Angaben des Sammlers sollen die Werke dazu beitragen, Vorurteile abzubauen und die Kunstvielfalt in einer von "politischem Konflikt geprägten Region" zu vermitteln. Aber vor allem gilt für Saatchi noch immer die Devise: Aus einem Skandal lässt sich prima profitieren.
