Angony's Art at the art Club Caucasus
We are very glad to have the chance to introduce to our readers the highly interesting paintings of Angony from Melbourne
Irrelevance
Acrylic on hardboard
80 x 122 cm
War crimes
Acrylic on canvas
91 x 61 cm
Artist's statement
I’m an artist from Melbourne, Australia and have been painting for 26 years.
Painting is just one of those things that I have to do in order to feel satisfied. I rarely plan ahead, it is more spontaneous than that. I start by slapping on paint, usually many layers, ideas appear, then it’s a matter of adding and deleting until hopefully the end result is a painting that I’m happy with.

I paint fairly quickly so using acrylics suits my style, either on canvas or hardboard.
My main motivation now is to paint “New World Order” themed work - It is just a way of trying to open people’s minds up.
Too many of us are brainwashed by mass media which controls the way we think and live.
My job is to expose all the lies that have been told and try to wake up those who are stll asleep.

Guest post Fee Doßmann for the Art Club Caucasus
Fee Doßmann is from Germany and an active part of the Facebook community "Freie Kunst"(Free Art)https://www.facebook.com/groups/386324751388066/
Fee says about her art:
"In our fast living and from digital media dependent time we need something for our souls.
Art gives us these resting and relaxing fields.
I live my art. I work with different representational forms, techniques and materials.
To express feelings, longings and create emotions, I speak through bright colors and style elements, my language of art."
