Feuchtenberger
Anke Feuchtenberger is probably the best known German female comic artist, born in 1963 (Ost-Berlin) and studied at the Kunsthochschule in Berlin.
She has been publishing comics and illustrations since the begining of nineteens in her unique style.
Anke has also been co-editor on the female only comic anthology Echolot (2001) and also cooperate with the Israeli group Actus Tragicus.
During my exchange student program at Hamburg she was one of my professors in illustration - HAW Hamburg.

Hi, very interesting, I only heard her name, I did not know that she was so famous in Germany and abroad. Thanks for posting and bringing the works of Anke Feuchtenberger here into focus. Best regards,Hans
ReplyDeleteshe is mostly famous in alternative comix scenes, mostely because of her comix books with weird stories.
